Full Spectrum with 3 Colour Channels
A perfect blend of 6500K Cool White, Crimson Full Spectrum, 660nm Deep Red, 395nm UVA, 450nm Royal Blue, 505nm Green, 525nm Cyan and 840nm Near Infra Red leds arranged in 3 colour channels.
Channel 1 is predominantly Blue, Channel 2 predominantly Red, and Channel 3 predominantly Green.
All channels at the same intensity produces a beautiful and natural
full spectrum white light with an aesthetically pleasing 5900K colour temp. From there you can adjust each colour channel to get the exact look you want.
Near Infra Red is not commonly used in aquarium lighting but we've included it because it's part of the full spectrum and there are many fish species that can see and use this light.

The Colour Tunable Aurora HD2 50W Fresh Water Pendant has WiFi and Bluetooth onboard ready to connect and go, the app is very easy to use and is packed with features including programmable automation.
The lamp is also Google Home and Alexa enabled for advanced automation and voice control.
The Colour Tunable Aurora HD2 50W Fresh Water Pendant has a newly designed super reliable temperature controlled smart fan inside that only comes on as required to keep the lamp cool and will switch off automatically when running on low.
The lamp also features automatic over temp protection, if the fan fails for any reason the lamp will turn off automatically if it gets too hot.

Integrated WiFi and Bluetooth
At the heart of the Colour Tunable Aurora HD2 50W Fresh Water Pendant there is a clever phone app (Android and iOS) that allows manual control and full
daily set and forget automation.
You can connect the app to the light via local Bluetooth or Wifi for control while around the home, or via WiFi in the cloud if you want to be able to control and program your light away from home.
The app also supports Google Home and Alexa integration for advanced automation and voice control.

Beam Angles
The beam angle refers to how narrow or wide the light beam will be.
A narrow beam angle like 15 will focus light to a smaller area and deliver higher PAR. A wide beam angle like 80 will spread light on a wider area and the PAR will be lower
than 15 or 24.
The diagram shows the different beam angles and also explains that in the centre directly below the light you'll get 100% intensity, at the edge of the beam angle you'll get 50% and further away you'll get spill light at around 10%.

- This is a high light system and is fully dimmable so you can run it at lower than full capacity if you don't need that much light.
- PPFD readings of 50 umol/m2/s or over at the substrate is considered high light and will support sustainable growth in difficult to grow and light demanding plants.
