I purchased this for my octagonal 45cm wide, 80cm high tropical, planted low tech tank. The light colour looks great & I'm loving way it looks shimmering on the water. Ability to dim the light allows me to adjust as I work out the best light intensity for the depth of my tank. I'm looking forward to seeing how my plants respond to it!

The power that this unit has is unbelievable. I have this set up on an auto controller and at maximum I use around 30% power and this is with co2 and ferts also. The depth of colour is unmatched. I can see this unit being great for tanks of 60cm depth or more. The gooseneck is great to adjust the angle and spread of light. I would highly recommend this light and would not even consider wasting money on a kessil or similar.

Fantastic light output from these LED lights. Light spectrum really makes the tank look intense and the actinic leds bring it to another level.

Compact & stylish light. I only wish the 2 channels could be controlled with the auto controller instead of the mixing dial.

Was easy to set up and the pre program settings are great if it a new setup I would suggest 6 hours a day at no more than 70 Percent and slowly ramp up over 4 weeks as the tank settles in

These lights are the best way anyone can spend they're money, Super fast delivery considering they are made to order, very simple to use and set up even for people with limited computer skills such as myself amd even come pre loaded if you are weary about getting them set up how you like (for wifi controller). My plants and fish are loving the new lights fish look amazing and the plants are starting to thrive.

I couldn't find a lot of reviews online about this product and was afraid the workmanship might be lacking, but my fears were unwarranted. This is a very well put together product. And it's bright too. Previously I had three different LEDs over my tank and this single unit is as bright, if not brighter penetrating the water surface deeper than the three put together.

I cannot comment to the plant growing capabilities of this light as I haven't had it long enough. Perhaps I'll do another review in six months or so.

It tooks a while to receive the product but boy its all worth it im in love with this light.

Purchased for my new tank and it’s great, yet to try different settings but loving the sunrise sunset lighting

Neat craftsmanship and the intensity of the leds are crazy good. Price is reasonable for what you get. Optics are a sweat feature no other brand really offers and option for hanging kit or stand is a nice addition.

After at least 4 years enjoyment of my dawn to dusk transitional lighting system for my planted Aquarium the time came to replace the LED tubes. The replacement tubes plugged in easily and the system was back to full operation without any fuss. Swift delivery and Freds helpful advice all make a happy customer.

I had a old setup of their rgb tubes and one of them died. Replaced it with the new Xb2 and I'm very happy with it. Noticably brighter than the rgb ones. Good customer service

I purchased the 180cm full spectrum panel from MakeMyLED for my new 6ft aquarium after having bought the freshwater tubes for my 2 previous aquariums. The build quality is very good and performance is exactly what I wanted. I opted for the WiFi controller this time, having used the TC420 controller previously, and I have found it very good to use. Installation was very quick and easy and I love that I can change the settings from my phone from anywhere. I can even check the status of the lights when I am out and about to make sure they are on and using the right settings which is just fantastic. Having control of each row of lights is great, you can adjust the output and spectrum to meet your desired effect. There are some built in functions that come pre-programmed which are mostly novelty but you can add your own which is a really great feature. I would highly recommend this panel to anyone wanting a professional grade light that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Overall I would say these lights are great and are very bright and grow plants amazingly well! However they are best suited to mounting inside a hood as they are not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. If you are top mounting your lights I would recommend getting a panel or pendant type light as they are much more attractive to look at.

I have had my 5ft panel light running on my planted Discus tank for the last 2 weeks and the difference between the old t5 unit is amazing. The plants have all taken off and are growing extremely well including the plants on the bottom meaning they light is still strong at the bottom of the tank (i ordered 90 degree lenses for the 2ft deep tank). The discus also seem happier and the new light certainly brings out their colours a lot more. The blues and reds are almost electric now and they get a lot more attention from guests now. The sunset controller was an excellent add-on and I really recommend this for those who want the best out of the light. I have made up my own light pattern that replicates sunrise, sunset and then moonlight. Because you can vary the power as well as the colour you can have the light on for longer. with peak power only needed for a few hours.I can enjoy my fish from 7am to midnight now under all sorts of colours. Its great fun playing with the app on the phone too! Value for money is really good. Comparable LED lights are easily several hundred dollars more and are simple on/off units. This unit has them beat in every way and is cheaper! This is a very easy recommend! Do yourself, your plants and fish a favor and upgrade your light!

my plants werent growing very well so i got these lights,i love how i was able to take old lights out of the hood and replace them with these,i very impressed with how much light they give out,,my plants already look so much better, thanks !!
