A perfect Marine spectrum
The MMLED Colour Tunable Coral Reef series have a perfect mix of 9W RGB 3-in-1 power leds with a boosted blue channel and with Red and Green for colour balance + 3W UVA power leds that together deliver vibrant and crisp natural lighting with awesome colour rendition and shimmer.
Unlike other RGB leds on the market, MMLED RGB power leds incorporate real 660nm Deep Red and 450nm Royal Blue chips which deliver a beautiful natural full marine spectrum hitting all the photo peaks to sustain and maintain Coral, Corraline Algae, Zooxanthellae algae and Macro algae growth.
The Blue channel on these LEDS are pummped so that they are the dominant colour and with Red and Green for colour balance.
With all channels at the same intensity, you get the perfect Marine spectrum that produces stunning clarity and colour depth, combined with the UVA power leds you'll see amazing colour pop on corals not seen under any other light.
Controller Options
Smart Controller (not suitable for use with wall timers)
The smart controller has a sophisticated full featured app (Android and iOS) that allows control of the brightness and colour and with daily set and forget automation using Bluetooth or Wifi connectivity and is also Google Assistant and Alexa aware for advanced automation routines and voice control.
Manual Controller (suitable for use with wall timers)
For those that don't like or need technology and just want a great light that can be turned on and off at the wall. A simple manual push button controller for On/Off, brightness and colour settings that remembers the last setting after power off and on.
No Controller (suitable for use with wall timers)
For those that just need a great light with the perfect spectrum that turns on full and off at the wall plug. Perfect for coral and macro algae growers and those that want zero technology.
Bracket Mounting
The horizontally adjustable brackets make it a simple task to lay the light on the glasstop or rim mount it on open tanks.
The bracket will raise the light 3cm above the rim, will fit on rims up to 17mm wide and are extendable to fit a tank up to 12cm longer.
Bracket & Riser Mounting
The risers fit neatly into the braket and will raise the light an additional 14cm higher.
Suspension Mounting
Perfect for those that like to suspend their light from above.
The Hang mounting kit includes two mounting arms and cables and everything you need.

The beam angle affects how wide or narrow the light beam will be. A lower degree beam angle like 30 will have a narrower beam than 45.
Narrower beams produce higher intensity and PAR directly below the light but that intensity tapers off as you move out from the center.
Wider beams have a lower intensity and PAR directly below but the intensity does not taper off as quickly.
Choosing an appropriate beam angle for your tank dimensions and lighting needs is not an exact science but use this table as a general guideline.

Yes everything is included except the mounting hardware which is optional

Can it be used with a powerpoint timer?
Yes it can be used with a powerpoint timer but there is an integrated smart controller where you can use an app to control on/off and lamp intensity and automate these things on a 7 day cycle
What should I do if I have a problem?
This light is designed for trouble free long term use under normal operating conditions, if you need help you can use the MMLED online chat for assistance and trouble shooting. In the unlikely event there is a fault, the lamp is covered by a 12 months peace-of-mind manufacturers guarantee and you can return it to the place of purchase for a replacement or repair.
What type of light does it produce?
