Dimmable Option
Without the Dimmable option the unit operates on/off at the wall. With Dimmable option you get control via an Android or iOS app and a wireless remote for traditional dimming and on/off.
The app allows full dimming and on/off using the controls in the app and has basic automation programming e.g. on/off at specific times of the day.
Direct and easy integration with Google Assistant and Alexa automation services to provide more complex automation e.g. Sunrise/Sunset ramping.
The manual slide dimmer operates wirelessly and provides simple brightness control and on/off. You can use the phone app or manual remote or both at the same time
Beam Angles
The beam angle refers to how narrow or wide the light beam will be.
A narrow beam angle like 20 will focus light to a smaller area and deliver higher LUX and PAR. A wide beam angle like 90 will spread light on a wider area and the LUX and PAR will be lower
than 20 or 60.
The idea is to chosse a beam angle that will deliver the intensity you need for a specific distance and area. For example, If you find that 20 degrees on a 200W
delivers the amount of light you need for a set distance but doesn't cover enough area then you should look at a more powerfull light e.g. 400W and choose a wider beam angle e.g. 60 degrees.
You can use this method repeatedly to get a light with the correct power and area coverage to meet your needs.
The diagram shows the different beam angles and also explains that in the centre directly below the light you'll get 100% intensity, at the edge of the beam angle you'll get 50% and further away you'll get spill light at around 10%.

Is it dimmable?
Yes this light is fully dimmable using either the hand held remote or the smart phone app.
Is everything included in the box?
Yes everything is included except the mounting hardware which is optional
Does it need a light fixture?
No it doesn't. This light is already in it's own fixture complete and ready to plug in and go.
Can it be used with a powerpoint timer?
Yes it can be used with a powerpoint timer but there is an integrated smart controller where you can
use an app to control on/off and lamp intensity and automate these things on a 7 day cycle
What should I do if I have a problem?
This light is designed for trouble free long term use under normal operating conditions,
if you need help you can use the MMLED online chat for assistance and trouble shooting.
In the unlikely event there is a fault, the lamp is covered by a 12 months peace-of-mind manufacturers guarantee and you can return it to the place of purchase for a replacement or repair.
What type of light does it produce?
This lamp produces True Colour visible light, a perfect full spectrum for animals and plants and will make your animal colours show like you've never seen them before. No UV light is produced by this lamp.
